Brief Information on the Setup

Updated: Jan 18, 2019

This is a private Project, which started in 2003. It is a 1-1 size (without motion) Airbus A320 simulator based at home. It is full one-to-one scale cabin with GLARE, MAIN, PEDESTAL and OVERHEAD Panels. Currently there is a single short throw BenQ projector for the outside world.

I am using Project Magenta full suite software for ;

PFD/ND - Primary Flight Display / Navigational Display ECAM - Electronic Centralized Aircraft Monitor E/WD - Engine / Warning Display SD - Systems Display FCU - Flight Control Unit MCDU - Multipurpose Control and Display Unit FBW - Fly-by-Wire Module pMSound - System Sounds Module Overhead and System Logic Software Instructor Station

and Lockheed Martin P3Dv4 (64bit) for the flight dynamics and the outside world sceneries toghether with many addons.

The weather system is being managed by Active SKy weather system.

For the electronic interfacing, I started off with EPIC back in 2005 but since the past 5 years I've reverted to opencockipts electronic I/O cards for the simulator, which is much more flexible compared to EPIC cards.

I am doing some tests with JeeHell software suite, which is definetly fantastic. Will provide further updates soon as I progress.
