FC Scenery Turkey for P3D v6

Updated: Aug 26

Prepar3D users seeking to enhance their virtual flying experience over Turkey now have access to the recently launched FC Scenery Turkey Project. This scenery add-on is designed to be fully compatible with Prepar3D versions V4, V5, and V6, as well as ORBX products and other payware sceneries.

Recently, I upgraded my A320 home cockpit simulation software to Prepar3D v6 (currently running version 6.1.11.31619) for several reasons. I also have the complete ORBX suite, which I’ve modified to run smoothly with P3D v6.

The Turkey Project by FC Scenery can be purchased for $30 directly from their website, fcscenerys.com. After purchase, a download link is sent via email. The project is a sizable download, split into six 10GB rar files and one 3GB rar file.

Version 1 of the project includes:

  • 100% land coverage with photoreal textures.

  • Base terrain resolution of 2m/px, with important areas rendered at 1m/px and 50cm/px.

  • Autogen coverage of 80%, manually crafted. The developer has promised to increase autogen coverage in future updates.

I use numerous addon airports in Turkey, and I haven't encountered any issues with the FC Scenery. The ORBX products also integrate seamlessly, offering stunning visual experiences. Communication with the developer, Fernando from Chile, has been excellent. He has been very supportive throughout the entire process, and I am looking forward to his future updates.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this project alongside P3D v6. It seems that many developers are currently avoiding v6 in favor of developing for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS), so having high-quality enhancements like this—featuring photoreal HD textures, autogen mesh, and detailed elevation data for Turkey—is very much appreciated.
